About
Hey lake people….
I recently decided life is too short to be in the contentious legal world, and thought it would be fun to start a virtual lake community.
As you know, life is always better on the lake. So we are calling our club “Living Superior” (after our largest and northernmost lake), a community apart from Facebook and other nasty Big Tech social media, a place that runs deep with rural American and Midwestern values.
A real virtual getaway
We want to build a community where you can “get away” from civilization all year long, especially those times when you can’t be at the lake. Like your favorite lake, this will be a neighborly place, and it won’t cost you a thing to be a part of this community. Not that we won’t take your donations, but our overhead is small at the moment.
Hopefully some of you will join and grow with us. At some point in the near future we are going to start a magazine (we are currently building the website) and some other lake lifestyle subscription services to pay the bills, but for the most part you don’t have to pay to join our exclusive club.
Maybe that will change and we’ll have to charge admission to keep out the riff-raff (you know who you are!).
Take it outside
Unlike Facebook, Living Superior doesn’t have “fact checkers” who limit free speech, but we are a civil place and if you start a ruckus, we will ask you to take it outside. Them’s the rules.
Otherwise, we are a laid back community, just like the one surrounding your favorite lake. You get it, and that’s why I’d like you to consider joining us in this new community.
You can start by being one of our first 100 subscribers to our YouTube channel, which currently has some teaser videos with our mascot “Sasha” hopping through the snow looking for subscribers. Getting to 100 will allow us to upgrade the channel content. It’s free, and it’s easy, especially if you have a Gmail account, then all you need to do is click the red “subscribe” button at this link.
We won’t forget this neighborly favor, I promise!
Thanks for enduring my little pitch. Have a good one.
